Edge Hill Country School is an independent school offering education inspired by the Waldorf curriculum for children from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Edge Hill is situated outside the town of Durham, Ontario on the edge of farmland in an original Ontario schoolhouse with three other buildings on a natural playground. We are within half an hour of the beauty of the Bruce Peninsula on Lake Huron and about two hours north of Toronto, Canada's largest city. We have a working Board of Directors and a highly involved parent community. Edge Hill School is a non-profit organization.

We are now accepting applications for the position of Supply Teacher for our Kindergarten and Grades, for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year, to join our on-call supply list.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Teaching experience
• Background in education
• Knowledge of Waldorf teaching practices
• Knowledge of early childhood education
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team with the existing faculty group
